  • Lisa Rockenmacher

Lisa Rockenmacher has been a yoga teacher for the past decade and is eternally grateful to the teachers and teachings of Yogi Bhajan for helping her to access deeper truth in her life. One of Lisa's favorite aspects of Kundalini yoga is the beautiful community that forms around the practice. Always a seeker of spirit and consciousness, Yoga has been the main focus of Lisa's adult life. She discovered yoga as a new mother and after leaving her ten year career as a public school teacher. Unsure of her new identity, Lisa suffered severe panic attacks and high levels of anxiety. Yoga soothed, calmed, and eventually brought her joy. In addition to Kundalini yoga, Lisa is also certified at the 500-hour level in Classical Yoga, she is a teacher trainer at YogaLifeNH, a Reiki master, and an intuitive healer. All these paths feed one another, but Lisa believes it is the vibrant unifying energy of Kundalini Yoga that keeps her heart awakened. She invites inquiry and the opportunity for her students to be receptive to the needs of the moment- noticing mind, body, and breath as an avenue to their own inner wisdom. Her classes are cohesive, personalized, energy-balancing, and welcoming to all.

    Tomasen M Carey

Tomasen is an IKYTA certified Kundalini Yoga instructor, Reiki II Practitioner, teacher and writer. Her first experience in Kundalini was like no other yoga she had ever practiced. The emphasis on each individual’s personal experience aligned perfectly with all she was looking for in a daily practice. She left the class knowing it was something she would have as a part of her life for the rest of her life. The many dimensions of movement, sound, meditation, mantra, gong, and breath help her to calm her very busy mind. A desire for understanding and for deepening her practice lead her to the Ashram in Millis, MA. for teacher training. She is thrilled to be a part of the growing community of SKY, to share the ancient teachings with others in this challenging and exciting Aquarian Age.

    Karly Nihal

Karly Nihal (Har Anand Kaur) is a Kundalini Yoga instructor, Yoga Therapist and a life long seeker of awakening and truth. She completed her 200 hour Kundalini Yoga teacher training at the Baba Siri Chand Ashram in Millis, MA, and her 500 hour training in Yoga Therapy and Classical Yoga at the YogaLife Institute in Exeter, NH. Her passion is to raise awareness in herself and others through the beautifully diverse forums of yoga, meditation and education. Karly teaches Kundalini yoga in Exeter and Portsmouth, NH.

    AMRITA KUAR

Amrita found Kundalini Yoga to be a way of ‘shutting down and rebooting’ the mind – so we can start again fresh! After experiencing her first class, she knew she had to learn as much as possible about this art, science, and discipline. She soon discovered the glandular health and emotional release benefits of having a steady practice.

Finding real community in Kundalini Yoga, Amrita has attended 3HO’s Summer and Winter Solstice events for the past 6 years, managing teams and growing each year. She also has studied with the senior teachers Tej and Harijiwan in Los Angeles for four years, and served as a weekly sadhana leader at Yoga West and the Ra Ma Institute for Applied Yogic Science & Technology in Venice, CA. Amrita has taught Kundalini Yoga for medical research with the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine, as well as at the Guru Ram Das Ashram in Millis MA, the Great Bay Music Festival and Blue Moon in Exeter NH, at Peace Yoga in DTLA, and at women’s recovery homes in Los Angeles.

Amrita is certified through the Kundalini Research Institute to teach Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan, as well as Conscious Pregnancy.

    Jenn Mercier

Jennifer, Ongkardev Kaur, is a 200 hr + Yoga teacher and Master Reiki Practitioner. Her love of mind body practices began at the age of 18 when she was introduced to Martial Arts. She was guided to Yoga several years later as true adulthood began to take shape. This practice of union within oneself reignited a deep desire to find true peace. Through many trainings, trial, error & even a trip to India she eventually found her ultimate path, Kundalini Yoga. Though never meeting Yogi Bhajan, Master of Kundalini Yoga, she has always felt a deep connection to him and his powerful teachings. Jennifer is known for her high energy enthusiasm and "keep up" attitude.

  • What is Kundalini yoga?

"It is like no other yoga you have ever done!"

Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan® is considered the most comprehensive of yoga traditions, combining meditation, mantra, physical exercises and breathing techniques; it is a Raj Yog, encompassing the eight limbs of yoga into a singular practice of excellence and ecstasy.

    Yogi Bhajan

All classes are from the teachings of Yogi Bhajan who brought this hidden practice to the west in the 1960's. We are forever grateful for these teachings as they guide and teach us every day.
